Maite is a petite 2-year-old Arabian Mau who was found living among the colony cats in a residential area in Dubai. She had been spayed a year ago as part of the community TNR program, but unlike many street cats, Maite always stayed close to the villas and loved human attention, cuddles, and affection.
One of the residents noticed that Maite was limping and came to us for help. After a vet check and x-rays, we discovered that her limp was caused by an old shoulder injury from a long time ago. We also discovered that Maite was microchipped — meaning this sweet girl once had a home before she was abandoned.
For 18 months, Maite survived outside as a stray. She has quietly suffered for long enough, and now she deserves the safety, comfort, and love of a forever family. She is affectionate, playful, expressive, and loves being close to her humans. Maite is ready for her second chance, and she will bring so much cat joy into the right home.
