Maya was rescued with her 5 newborn kittens from a demolition site in Dubai. She had hidden her babies under the concrete to keep them safe, and when engineers found them, three were stuck to a rat trap. By some miracle, all of her kittens survived.
Maya was later found and reunited with her babies. After everything she had been through, she was thin and exhausted — but as soon as she arrived in foster care, she settled in immediately, showing just how much she belonged in a home.
All of her kittens have now been adopted, but Maya is still waiting for a family of her own. She is around 18 months old, gentle and loving
