Misty is a gentle, affectionate British Shorthair who lost her voice permanently and cannot meow. Despite this, she communicates through cuddles and play. She is FELV positive, which means she can only live with other FELV+ cats or as the only cat, but the virus is not contagious to humans or other species.
Her journey hasn’t been easy — Misty was rescued from the community in the summer while in premature labour, with her kittens stuck inside. She underwent emergency surgery, but sadly none of her babies survived. Thankfully, she pulled through and has made a full recovery. Misty is not a street cat; she was abandoned or lost, and now she needs the safety of a forever home.
