How do I adopt a cat with Forever Paws?
Search our available cats using location or traits filters. When you find a match, complete our short inquiry form. We’ll reach out within 48 hours to arrange the next steps
What is included in the adoption fee?
Our adoption fee helps cover: full vet health check, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, and the microchip.
Adoption fees can vary depending on where you are in the UK as local vet and care costs differ, or if the cat is an international adoption. On average, you can expect to pay £150 to adopt an adult cat or kitten within the UK, and £250 to adopt a rescue from abroad.
Can I see the cat before adopting?
Yes! Many cats are in foster homes and visits are by appointment only—this helps reduce stress for rescued cats. We’ll arrange a safe meet‑and‑greet in a calm setting
Can I adopt if I live in a flat or rented property?
Absolutely, as long as your landlord allows pets. All our cats can thrive indoors; some may need an indoor-only home. We can help you find a match suited to your living situation. Please provide documented permission if renting
Why should I adopt instead of buy?
Adopting saves lives—each cat from Forever Paws has been rescued from street conditions, given medical care, and placed into foster before adoption. We focus on matching cats based on temperament and your lifestyle—often more insightful than buying from a breeder
